ABOUT US
Pickering & Chatto has been dealing in rare books for the best part of two centuries. We specialise principally in the fields of Women's Studies, Children's Books, Literature, Economics, and Social Sciences, from the fifteenth century to the first decades of the twentieth century.
We produce a number of catalogues each year, along with lists on various subjects. Catalogues can be viewed and downloaded here.
In addition, short general bulletins
and lists on particular subjects will also appear from time to time on our website;
recent topics including 'Children and Education' and 'Women's Studies 1654-1925'

of book fairs, both in the UK and overseas, including the ABA fairs at the
Saatchi Gallery and Chelsea, PBFA fairs at Cambridge and York, and occasionally
